Blackball founded in Taipei, Taiwan in 2006 (http://www.blackball.com.tw/). It is featured in making Taiwanese traditional desserts and drinks with an authentic herb named Kansai grass. Currently Blackball has more than 70 franchises in Taiwan and more than 100 franchises in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia. Blackball entered into Canada three years ago. Blackball Dessert in Canada is the exclusive agent of Blackball Brand in Taiwan. In 2018, Foodie helped Blackball to establish the first franchise of Blackball Dessert in Richmond, BC to establish a series of products and supply chain systems. Since then, it started to embark on the road in the Canadian market. Over past three years, Blackball Dessert has successfully set up five franchises in British Columbia and across Canada, Toronto, Mississauga, Victoria, etc. Even Covid-19 pandemic has huge influence on catering industry.
Blackball has three main categories of products: Crushed Ice, Desserts, and Drinks. Crushed Ice was originated from Taiwan, adding handmade toppings, and served with Blackball exclusive brown sugar syrup, it brings exhilaration to your taste buds. The Dolar Shop Hot Pot originally came from Macau.
